Thanks Dana, I read your response to Bryan concerning this subject and since
he is losing more sleep over this than I am I thought I would let him take
the lead. In 3 years of wondering about this, yours was the first post I've
seen with  hard information .I'm still curious as to why the 1.9NA block has
the piston oil squirters and why VW produced a Vanagon oil pan with a cast
boss for a turbo oil return ?
