What white light?  Where?  In what way is it blinking?  What year is the van?

Yup -- but if it's clicking, call the fire department or the bomb squad.

Don't know an easy fix -- someone is going to have to trace through the
wiring and find out what's going on.  Could well be a bad ignition switch.
