I have started to notice a loud sound coming from
the fuel pump. It sounds like a bearing starting to fail.
I haven't found much in the archives and don't recall
much discussion on fuel pump failures. Is this simply a
case of replace before getting stranded ? Any special
concerns when replacing the fuel pump. I don't see much
in the Bentley about the subject.

 Any help would be appreciated.
