Hi,

A few weeks ago I checked the fuel pressure on my 85. With a calibrated
gauge it was running around 4#'s higher than Bentley specs.

I put on a new Bosch regulator today from BD. It is running 3#'s higher that
Bentley specs now.

Here are the results:
New Regulator-31psi@12" vacuum, Bentley says I should have 28psi.
Old Regulator-32psi@12" vacuum

New Regulator-29psi@18"vacuum
Old Regulator-28psi@18"vacuum

I wonder with the small Vanagon market if Bosch just supplies a regulator
that is close enough and does not make the Vanagon specific regulator
anymore.
