I have put 215/75/15 spares into 3 different Syncros and an 82 Westy. It
is a very tight fit. The upper curved rods must be left off and a
different door made. Nothing wider or taller will go. Be careful that
the tire does not push against the steering shaft, lower inflation
pressure helps.
