There is usually a switch on the radios to move them from one setup to another. I haven't looked at the back of a car radio to see if there is such a switch in quite a while. This switch might be hidden inside the chassis if it's not outside. _____ Donald Baxter Iowa City, Iowa (319) 337-0494 www.mindspring.com/~onanov -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of David Marshall Sent: Tuesday, August 14, 2001 5:56 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Do European FM Radios work in North America? I am importing a Multivan from Germany and they are offering to sell me the CD-Changer / Radio setup. Do the German FM radios work correctly in North America. Why I ask is here the spacing is 0.2MHz i.e. 95.7, 95.9, 96.1, 96.3 etc where in Europe it is 0.1Mhz (95.5, 95.6, 95.7 etc). Tuning in for your input!
