Many thanks to all who replied to my post concerning the upper
control arm bushings on "Bear", my '87 Westfalia! I managed to get a
silicone lubricant/penetrant to quiet the bushings down for the time
being- and I'm sure I'll replace them this fall (when it's not 100
degrees in my driveway!).
Speaking of hot weather, my '87 doesn't have any air
conditioning- I can open the dash vents and the roof vent, but that only
goes so far..........I was thinking about tinting the windows to help
provide a little better thermal efficiency, and I don't know a thing
about window tinting- has anyone else done this? Does it work? Is one
type better than the other? Any tips? Approximate cost?Have something to add on this topic today? Revive this thread in the forum »
