OK, this will be it for today----

I have a complete AC set-up for an 87 Wolfsburg, which is at the moment
functioning well.

Nothing hanging from the headliner like some sort of a Ca-Ca
mobile---all ductwork in magnificent shape, blower works perfect at all
speeds----

Not going to be real cheap, because of the labor involved to remove all
the component's but will be reasonable, compared to what it would cost
to replace with new.

And I'm talking from the rugs on the floor to the picture's on the
wall----- compressor to the vent's.
