IMHO, just use some loctite thread sealant.  that should keep the
metal/metal contact negligible.  however, if any metal/metal contact
occurs, only anaerobic corrosion(if it's possible -- i guess i didn't learn
a darn thing in o-chem :D ) will be able to occur.

anyways, thats my unqualified opinion.
