Discovered something very nifty last night while re-wiring trailer
light harness for my '85 Jetta: the taillight assembly have built in
spade-lugs for each light contact, making it easy to add in a harness
without cutting any wires! Very cool. I'm sure if this is what
they're for, but I can't imagine what else they would be for...
I don't recall seeing these on the Vanagon, but maybe I missed them.
