Hello from Atlanta, Ga.  Has anyone prepped and then silver repainted the
Vanagon OEM steel wheels?  Before new tires are installed, I would like to
spruce up one of our '81's with nice original looking silver repainted
wheels.  Do they need to be completely sand blasted and professionally
repainted?  Is this prepping something I can do "at home, in my spare
time..." ?  Most important, will the silver finish last and resist scratches
like the original?  IT!
