Replacing the clutch is really straigh-forward. I had mine out on friday evening after work and back in by noon the next day (starting at 9am after getting the flywheel back from the machinist). In a shop i'd estimate about 4 hours of labor MAX. I dropped the flywheel off at 7am and picked it up around 9am. Cost was 27$- BUT they charged me wrong. It should have been about $50 because there are two surfaces to grind and some pins to pull out. While at it, think aboout the CV's and the main seal (both tranny and engine.) For tools, you'll need some way to remove the flywheel bolts (i used an impact wrench) and a 12point wrench thing for the CV's and the rest are just regular tools. Floor jack is nice.
