Subject:Re: 88 Westy: Cost to Replace Broken Engine Mount?

The rear motor mounts (there are 4 of them) are around $15 each.

To replace them, you need to remove the muffler/cat, the heat shield, and the rear crossmember while supporting the engine with a jack. It should only take a couple of hours depending on how much time you spend cleaning parts. Make sure that you get new exhaust gaskets for any/all exhaust connections you open.

Subject: 88 Westy: Cost to Replace Broken Engine Mount?

Apparently I'm going to have to replace an engine mount in my '88 Westy.
Can anyone give me a ballpark cost estimate on this?
