The rear shoe can sometimes get undone. By that I mean it pops off the mount
and does not release completely. Then somewhere along the way, it pops off.
Mine did this for a while until I redid by rear drum brakes. Of course, it
was tearing stuff up back there. Open her up and look for a loose brakeshoe
retainer.
