Insane? perhaps...
Unusual? Not really... My stock '88 had no trouble doing 130-140 km/h
on the I-5 on the first trip we took 5 years ago. However, I quickly tired
of doing this speed given the reduced safety margin in a Westy -
brakes, tires, etc. Now, I rarely cruise above 100km/h, and never above
110 except to pass.
