well, ok, but wouldn't that be a solution to a 12v plug that is aparently unusable because of its configuration? make it a usable 12v adapter plug, right? I know I would miss the silver socket thread, but isn't that what it is in the first place, a 12v accessory outlet? m ----- Original Message ----- From: Terry Kay <CTONLINE@webtv.net> To: Mick Kalber <hotlava@interpac.net> Cc: <Vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com> Sent: Monday, September 03, 2001 1:32 PM Subject: Re: Re: What is that darn silver thing on my Westy dieseldash??????? > Mick---- > > Boy, skip the originality factor. > > If you want more cigar lighter plugs, stop at Wal-Mart and by one of > those 13 12v outlet logs to power up you electric tea heater, and the > coffee pot, and your 12v whoppee cushion, but leave the silver socket > alone !!! > > You'll never know how many "whats this for's" you'll be missing till > it's gone. > > For shame, for shame. > > > Later, > > ______________ > |[ ] [ ] [ ]\ > | | | | > ~~~ ~||-(())----(())-| > > Terry-- > 74 Campmobile- (Clementine) > 85 GL- (Delilah) > 86 BMW 325 ES- (Eva) > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "In life, it is much better to want > something you cannot have--- > > Than to have something you can't get rid of" > > (T.K.) > >
