Several have tried. Most recently someone stuck a Japanese car intercooler on
a 1.9TD but I can't remember his name. Karl W maybe? Michael Sullivan has one
in his 1.9TDI as well. I have an Audi TT intercooler which I intend on
plumbing into my 1.6TD
