I replaced the stock 65 amp alternator with a 90 amp on my 82 westy diesel.
Now my alternator light goes on from dim to bright and at different speeds.
What causes the light to go on? over and undercharging? I'm thinking it might
be a loose connection because I connected a battery and charging meter the
kind that plugs into the lighter and shows good charging. Battery seams good
no problem starting.
