Dear Vanagon listers,

If memory serves me correctly, the instrument panel on the Vanagon
has a voltage regulator on the back of it.  I think it is set up for
8V (I can' remember).  If the voltage regulator is working, I don't
think the gauges will fluctuate when the headlights are ON.  My
gauges are rock-solid, day or night.
