If you've ever read the book "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect
Up?" you'll get a glimpse of my upbringing.  And yes, absolutely none of it
sunk in until a few years ago.  When Daughter #1 was born we joked, when
she was 3 and started flirting to get attention, we joked a little bit
less.  When at age eight she just tells me she now has a "boy I really
like" full-on panic is setting in.

Boy, If I had only know what a westy was capable of when I was in high
school...
