Sad and horrified as I am, the world goes on, and I need to put new tires on
my '85 Westy. The Audi 5000 Quattro alloys I bought recently have been
machined to clear the front grease caps, but any tires I've tried on the
front rub the upper ball joint area. I've been told on this list that wheel
spacers are available to correct the problem, but I cannot find them. List
members have suggested wheel shops and local parts stores as sources, but no
one here in rural Central Pennsylvania has a source. If any of you know a
SPECIFIC source for wheel spacers, please let me know. I'd also like to buy
a set of longer wheel studs for the rear.
