I have used MMO, in amounts varying from 6 to 16 ounces, to quiet noisy lifters. I have not had any problems with the oil light flickering. However, when I put in the larger amounts, I have changed the oil shortly thereafter. I am using Castrol 20W50 and Mann/Mahle filters. I recently returned from a trouble-free 2,500 mile trip from Arizona up through Utah & Idaho to Montana. I averaged 21.8 mpg, with the best 23.4 and worst 19.0. Very little freeway driving, and a lot of steep mountain grades, one of 13% to over 10,300'. That tends to drag my mileage down.
