Hi Volks, For the westie set the famous inverted flower pot of legend works OK on the stove. For the non westie set a catalytic works fine. BUT of course you don't run them when you sleep. After all, when you're asleep on top of the fleece (psavage) and under the 600 fill down (pensioner) with a synchilla cap on you can't tell it's cold at all. In the morning just fire up the stove, put on the kettle, roust the squirrels and.... oh yeah, you do have a squirrel coat, don't you. Has several pockets inside, into each you place squirrels as needed for extra warmth. Or you could put another weasel in your trou. Or you could simply stop being a wimp or wimpette and get up and start moving around and straightening up for the day's adventure, whilst the kettle boils. Always keep a front window cracked at least 2" and a side window behind the stove cracked another 2" whilst snoozing. Howsomever if the top is popped the airflow is sufficient through the canvas and screening to keep things pretty well ventilated albeit cold. Or hey, if it's too cold inside just go outside, make a nice snowcave, and stay warm there. Large furry animals help too. Several cats, a couple of dogs, a wolverine, all will keep you active, warm, and perhaps amused while you try to get that weasel out of the trou. We've given up on the Kudzu thing. More better is a sentence whacking sawgrass in a saltmarsh with the obligatory visits by victim survivors. The saltmarsh has the advantage of truly voracious moskies and really mean sawgrass. How about that, Unca Joel? We could winter the bum in Minnesoter where he could amuse the blackflies in his truly tasteful bathrobe. pensioner (not taking friday off)
