Well, a couple of years ago someone posted in a german photo newsgroup that
he had found a cheap mini-flashlight for a bargain price at a store of a
certain chain. Well, this flashlight had been in the program for many years but
never sold in big quantities. A couple of days later I visited the store next
to me and wanted to buy one of the flashlights. It earned me - and others
throughout Germany - curious looks since they had sold more of these thingies in
a day than in the whole years before.
Having read Todd's explanation regarding the blue LED, I wonder whether a
similar stampede on Radio Shack will start now to purchase the LED which Todd
even gave the part number of.... ;-)))
Have a good weekend, everyone
Cheers
Chris
