Laurence, If you have everything ready to go you can replace the Temp II with a minimum of coolant loss (a couple of tablespoons). Be sure the engine is really cool when you do it. Move quickly but carefully. Does anyone know if I replace the Temperature Sensor II if I should expect a gush of coolant? This sensor is the one on the thermostat housing. I am hoping it is isolated form the coolant so as to avoid refilling and bleeding the cooling system. Thanks. Laurence Smith 90 Westy >>
