On the late models with adjustable armrests you have to drive out the
pin which is thru the shaft on which the armrest rotates.
  Push the seat upholstery away from the armrest and you should be able
to see the pin.  Drive it out with a punch or large nail with the end
filed flat.  The armrest will then come off and you can see what needs
to be tightened.
