I have a in my 90 Vanagon Westy.

Does anyone know if I replace the Temperature Sensor II if I should expect a
gush of coolant?  This sensor is the one on the thermostat housing.  I am
hoping it is isolated form the coolant so as to avoid refilling and bleeding
the cooling system.
