Subject:Tire trouble all terrain tires.

I bought some les schwab wild country all terrain tires in 7.5" by 27" by
14" for my
86 GL. At first I really liked them. The extra ground clearance and traction
was exactly
what I wanted. The van was way better in snow too.
Now, after only about 10,000 miles one of the tires is badly cupped. The
tire store told me
that I had not rotated it enough, but I rotate every oil change. Then they
said I have a bad shock.
Upon further inspection, I found no problems with my shocks.
Have any of you used All terrain tires on you vanagons? What brands will
work and what
treads will work? I want to get radial mud terrain type tires next time, but
I want to get more
than 10,000 miles out of them.
