hello, everyone. i'm brand new to the group and have a question
that i'm certain many of you can answer for me.

i'm wondering if the leaky head gasket problem with the vanagons
is something that is a problem for every model year. there is a '91
that i have my eye on, but am hesitant as i'm not sure i'm ready for
the expense of that repair should be required.

also, other than replacing the engine altogther, is there any way to
prevent the gasket corrosion from happening?
