Its pretty easy.  There is a page on the web that discusses chaning the
1.9 L h20 pump and it is basically the same procedure. YOu can find that
page by going to my specially indexed links page at:
http://www2.hawaii.edu/~andrewf/vanagon/links.htm
and then scrolling down to coolant or pressing control F and typing in
water pump.
