Subject:Engine lids

Well, my parts have arrived finally from der Vaterland.

New Konis, used G50 trans, shifter, starter, clutch. And a bonus set of 930
CVs and axles which I hadn't ordered! Saves me spending a grand on CVs...
now I just have to get my DM660 VAT back...

The somewhat grotty pale-olive metal T3 engine hatch I'd ordered to replace
my highrise plastic one was incorporated into the top of the crate, and is
screwed to the underside of a plywood door. Is this the normal Doka lid...
steel with wood top screwed on?

Next: decide whether to go for the 993 brakes or 17" wheels first...
