Bill, If you are going to have a car, may I suggest the Museum of Transportation. Its located in the grounds of a former estate on the outskirts of Boston. Supposedly its the oldest car collection in the US. The owners of the estate basically kept all of the cars they purchased starting back in 1900 or so. You can visit their website at www.mot.org. Currently they have an exhibit on the history of Mercedes.
