Toyota vans are also very solid and are good in frontal impacts.

Andrew - yep, Toyota would be definite second choice, might even get the
vote if diesel permanent 4WD with passenger suspension.
I drove Mitsubishi LBW for several years making deliveries, tolerable
transport but damn good value at the time (and 5 doors). Still wish I'd
forked out for the Toyota tho'!
Some people like 'em, but wouldn't touch a Mazda or Nissan.
