hey.  i am in the middle of replacing the water pump on my 86 westy, i
noticed that the old pump's gaskt had the red stuff- my roommate (owner and
member of the type II list) had mentioned that he remebered seeing something
about the pros and cons of each...  what are my options, and which is
better?  red or blue? (if there is a blue)
