Either you have an '86-up Vanagon, or you lucked out and we undercharged
you. :-)

The '83-85 muffler strap is $39.95, whereas the '86-91 is $14.95. Yes,
they're virtually identical (albeit not interchangeable). The difference is
that on the latter we have managed to slueth out who the actual manufacturer
is in Germany, whereas on the former we're still paying VW their markup (and
a sizeable one it is, even at the "wholesale" price).
