maybe they work on some vans, but didn't/doesn't on mine. I disassembeld
mine last year, cleaned, lightly lubed and adjusted. Maybe I used the wrong
grease on the threads (white lithium, just a touch) or maybe I'm just
unlucky :)

I still contend that it is a marginal self-adjusting system.
