I thought the US-made Rabbits started in 80 or 81 - is my memory fading again?

I've never owned one (a Japanese car), nor do I plan to, simply because my VWs
continue to be economical and have never let me down, except when *I* did
something really stupid, and even then, they're pretty forgiving.... ;-)Shawn & Janis
