(that damned silver >thing next to the steering column) >My ignorance shines again. >See you guys on the road, >Joel Joel, Nuthin' you don't need to know about unless you have an early 80's Westy? But when you do get that Early 80's Westy... it's a power recepticle that uses a German standard type plug that I understand is available in this country at BMW dealers. Most people, including myself, look at it for a long period of times, trying to figure out what goes there. I can't figure out why I would need a power recepticle there even if the van WAS running (and that one isn't). So know you know, the rest of the story. (At least the begining) tim in SJ P.S. There are many people who say there are no such things as dumb questions. There are. Millions of them. I believe there are many people who wouldn't know a dumb question if it hit them in the snoot. Your's are not particularly dumb, you will just need to figure out how to use the archives search to cover your butt when you don't know something that you think ought to be obvious. Best of Luck. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
