Well, I knew it was expensive, but since I lived in San Diego, I didn't have to camp. Now when I go back, I stealth camp. There is also Silver Strand State Park, but I don't know if they have camping there. It's on the beach south of Coronado. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ben McCafferty" <ben@KBMC.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, November 13, 2001 9:42 PM Subject: Re: Camping in San Diego? > OK, I was thinking more along the lines of county parks, but Dan's driveway > sounds good.... > bmc :) > > "Faith will move mountains, but you'd better bring a shovel...." > > > > From: Frank Grunthaner <FrankGRUN@AOL.COM> > > Reply-To: FrankGRUN@AOL.COM > > Date: Tue, 13 Nov 2001 23:16:30 EST > > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > > Subject: Re: Camping in San Diego? > > > > Not clear to me that there are any nice camping sites in metro San Diego.
