I have the van on Propane.  It is dual fuel, so gas or propane.
In alberta, propane is $0.32 per liter at the moment.  Gas is $0.55.
Diesel $0.52 I think, maybe less.
A while back I had a 1982 1.6  TD westy for a few years.  I much prefer
propane over diesel.  Same cost per kilometer as diesel (in alberta), but
more power among other things.
