Subject:starter problems

Hey team,

I have an 85 Westfalia GL, 250 000 km (150 000 miles) on the original motor,
transmission, starter and alternator. In the last week I've had problems
starting it. With the key in the 'start' position, the fuel pump comes on
but the motor doesn't turn over for a few seconds. Then it turns over at a
decent speed and catches. Seems to only do it when cold, and the battery is
fine as far as I know.

Could this be the ignition switch, starter or alternator? I was planning on
buying the Bosch hard start relay kit A(sooner or later) because i have had
problems with hard starts, when the motor wouldn't turn over fast enough.
But in this case it turns over fine, when it decides to do so.

TIA
Jeff
