Subject: 215/75R15 vs. 215/65R15 Tires
I was going to buy Michelin Agilis 51 (215/65R15) but I am having a hell
of a time finding them. However, 215/75R15 tires seem plentiful. So it
is time for me to spark a tire debate, my questions are as follows:
1. I am pretty sure 215/75R15 is the maximum size for the spare tire bay
without modification. True?
2. What is your favorite 215/75R15 Tire?
3. Apart from speedometer error, what disadvantage do I face with a
higher profile tire?
Thanks,
Chris Gronski
