I bought a power window kit from Electric-Life, with VW-style
switches. It is Italian (oh-oh) but uses Bosch motors. Apparently
it's slower but more reliable than stock VW units (doesn't break
cables, as the stock ones seem to).
VK12-k electric window regulator system complete $175.00
Magic-Life one-touch window system (optional) $95.00
4990-10-227 window switches, bezels, wiring $65.00

Electric-Life also makes remote central locking systems (including
tailgate), remote starters and remote window closers.

I have purchased all of these, but as my van has been in storage, I
have not fitted them.
