I had a friend step on my brakes after I installed my third LED brake light at the top of my AC shelf so I could see the effect from behind the van. I just love the extra safety and the new, modern look that the 3rd brake light gives to the Vanagon.

Now, I only wish I could find amber LED lights so that I could install them on the top left and right for up high signal lights. But I can not find amber LEDs and do not want to use red ones. I have seen cars with red turn signals in the side mirrors but prefer to use amber if I can find them.

Does anyone know a source for amber LED lights?

The 3rd brake light was an easy install. Thanks to the list members who recommended that improvement. Our brake lights are so low that those cars following close behind may not always see us stopping. As I see it a 3rd brake light up high helps us protect our beloved investment and our family inside from avoidable mishaps.
