I replaced my limp stock lamps with Hella Vision Plus H-4's, over a year
ago, and compared what's available out there, they throw a nice halfway
bright beam, without any alterations.

Relay''s would make them even better, but, they work good for an
excellent price---

$34.50 each, from Rosser Jeep, in Alabama ( 800 633-4724 ) ----They have
a website also, and the delivered price was $69.00 for the pair----

Good deal, nice lights.

Stay away from the Auto Pal or what ever the camel jockey lamps that are
available---they throw such a weird beam, the tops of tree's are
visible---everything but the immediate pavement in front of your
vehicle.
