Joe, you stated,
<< My owners manual calls for the same bulb for the stop/tail
light(1034), but when I pulled the assembly there was a much smaller bulb
in the taillight postion. This doesn't match what the owners manual says
but does match the bently, see Page 94.6, which shows a smaller 5W bulb.
This is the bulb I cannot seem to find. I talked with a local mechanic
and they said a #57 or #63, does this sound right? >>
The owner's manual is wrong. The 1034 is a dual filament bulb...all
of the bulbs in the T4 tail light assembly are single filament. I found
a bulb chart in an RV catalog, it listed the #57, but not the #63. The
chart stated the #57 is a different base type. Here are your choices,
based on what I think is the correct base:
Bulb No Watts Amperes CP Globe Type Base Type
67 8 0.59 @ 13.5V 4 G6 SC
97 9 0.69 @ 13.5V 4 G6 SC
1003 12 0.94 @ 12.8V 15 B6 SC
93 13 1.04 @ 12.8V 15 S8 SC
1141 18 1.44 @ 12.8V 21 S8 SC
1073 23 1.80 @ 12.8V 32 S8 SC
1056 27 2.10 @ 12.8V 32 S8 SC
1156 27 2.10 @ 12.8V 32 S8 SC
