Hi Volks,

   I have very limited internet access that's why I am only replying now.
The mechanic already started the work on the van so I am stuck with the $250
volkswagen muffler and $50 straps. It's a week before Christmas and now I'm
strapped. However thanks for all of your comments, I have learned a valuable
lesson and that is do the research! And as always be open to alternatives.
