I am just curios. Can any one out there with a vanagon syncro circa 1989-91
with 2.1 eng and 4spd tell me what their eng rpm is @ 60mph in top gear? My
2wd 1990 2.1 with auto trans is 3500 rpm @ 60mph. Reason for asking is that
yesterday on my way to work I was cruising along my usual pace of about 65mph
when a 90 syncro flew by me. He had to be doing at least 75. Just wondering
if he was just pushing it, or his engine rpm is more leisurely do to the 4spd
manual.
