i can obtain for free 6 deep cycle lead acid batteries... they are about the size of a car battery each- but only 6v each. I have seen them once, but never measured them or have any other specificiation. These batteries are less than a year old. My friend was going to use them for his house power system (off the grid) but after getting these he decided to go with a different battery brand and didn't want to mix and match batteries. The question is: lets assume i can squeeze on into my aux battery compartment... what about the other one (so i'd have 12V)? Under the back seat? Run 8' of 2awg wire or something like that? Avoid this and stick with a 12v deep cycle instead? thanks matthew Matthew Pollard "Racing with the wind and flirting with death Dept.
