DO NOT buy "American Products" brand gee-whiz LED "light bulbs" for you
Vanagon.  The lights bulbs look very cool as they are a cluster of LEDs on a
base that plugs into the brake light or taillight socket of our Vanagons.
They are, however, too dim!  I should have known that something was up since
all the "descriptions" of the product on the package are in some oriental
lettering.

I opted for the halogen "back-up lights" for my brake lights instead.  They
are very bright!
